A unique item to aid in deterring catalytic converter theft for your Element, and any other vehicle or item you have. 

Ultra-destruct self-etching CATETCH/CATGUARD labels incorporate a UNIQUE ID/PIN code for your catalytic converter (not a vehicle VIN number). If someone tries to peel the label off, the permanent etching is still retained and visible.

Quick and Easy Install:

  • Apply CATETCH/CATGUARD labels directly to your clean, cool, and dry catalytic converter and use supplied etching fluid (with included brush) to the label as instructed

  • Idle your vehicle for a few minutes to permanently etch your CATETCH/CATGUARD PIN code and website into your catalytic converter.

  • Apply International Security Register window warning decals to your front driver's side and/or passenger's side windows

  • Register your CATETCH/CATGUARD PIN code, free of charge, in the International Security Register database using your vehicle VIN, make and model and owner information

Due to the heat shield on OEM Element catalytic converters, we suggest ordering two per Element (one unique ID on two labels). One to put on the cat itself near the downstream O2 sensor on the driver's side, and the other on the heat shield on the passenger's side so thieves will see the labels from either side, and move on.

It's highly recommended that you register your stickers/UNIQUE ID numbers on the ISRCODECHECK.com international database to track stolen items

We still encourage the use of a cat shield or cat cover, to additionally protect your cat until something is done to fully wipe out cat theft. Adding these should be a definite "Nope!" to those out there who help themselves to other people's property.

Check local laws and state statutes regarding requirements for catalytic converter labeling requirements. Some states require the vehicle's actual VIN to be permanently marked on vehicles. These don't have the vehicle VIN but a unique, one-of-a-kind ID.

ElementDriven offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on specific products, which is listed on the detail page for each product covered. Not all items will have this guarantee.

If you are not totally satisfied with the Honda Element Rear-Seat Floor-Latch Covers that you purchased, return it within 30 days of receiving it and we will refund what you paid to purchase it. This excludes original purchase shipping cost. We will refund you the full product amount you paid (minus shipping cost to you).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in undamaged condition. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (original order number).

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We want you to be happy with your ElementDriven product.

ElementDriven will replace the Honda Element Rear-Seat Floor-Latch Cover we shipped you if it has a manufacturing defect that is reported to us within 180 days of your receiving it. If you see a manufacturing defect in the Honda Element Rear-Seat Floor-Latch Cover that you purchased, complete the information belbow so that we can determine whether you are eligible for replacement.
